Repton School Abu Dhabi is seeking an outstanding  English Teacher for August 2026.

The ideal candidate will have a proven history of delivering exemplary examination results and teaching at both GCSE and A-Level.

Repton operates across two state-of-the-art campuses on Reem Island, Abu Dhabi.

• Rose Campus (Foundation School): Established in 2013, Rose Campus caters to students from Nursery to Year 2, providing a nurturing environment for approximately 600 young learners.

• Fry Campus: Opened in 2017, Fry Campus serves students from Year 3 to Year 13, including Senior School students who follow iGCSE and A-Level programmes. Fry Campus accommodates approximately 1,800 students, bringing the total capacity across both campuses to 2,300 students.

About the Department

The Senior School spans year groups from Year 6 – Year 13. We are an all-through school so the majority of students entering the Senior School progress directly from our Junior School who share Fry campus.

The English Department at Repton Abu Dhabi is committed to providing a world class education for our students. The department has a range of teaching backgrounds, and are all focused on teaching for deep understanding where new learning is built upwards from strong foundations. Skills, Experience and Responsibilities:

• Qualified Teacher Status; and 

• EITHER - Bachelors of Education with PGCE or Masters and relevant experience teaching this subject specialism; 

• OR - Bachelors in subject relevant to teaching specialism plus PGCE / Masters in Education

• Have experience teaching at Key Stage 4 & 5 in a school with an outstanding track record 

• Have minimum 2 years post qualification experience 

• Have experience teaching in a UK setting or renowned British Curriculum international school 

• Be at least 25 years old
