Responsibilities:
- Preparation of Quarterly/Monthly VAT returns and submissions
- Meeting monthly VAT deadlines
- Reviewing VAT transactions for accuracy and completeness
- Keeping up to date with HMRC VAT and other relevant regulations along with new releases within cloud software
- Supporting end-to-end payroll duties
- Supporting self-assessment tax returns
- Liaising with clients in a professional manner
- Hold around 2 or more years bookkeeping experience within a practice setting
- Demonstrate high levels of communication skills
- Have strong technical expertise in VAT
- Be capable of working independently, taking initiative, and quickly adapting to the role
