HGV Class 1 Driver - Southam, Warwickshire - Regular Work Monday to Friday
People Solutions are currently recruiting for a HGV Class 1 Driver based in Southam, Warwickshire to join our client. This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay and genuine opportunities to grow and progress.
This position would suit applicants looking for a role as a LGV Class 1 Driver , Category CE Driver , or Articulated Lorry Driver .
Shifts:
* Monday to Friday
* Start time: 06:00 Rates of Pay: * Monday to Friday: £17.00 per hour Benefits: Your benefits as a HGV Class 1 Driver are: * Excellent hourly rates
* Ongoing work
* Weekly pay
* Training provided
* Employee well‑being programme Day‑to‑Day Duties: Your duties as a HGV Class 1 Driver will include: * Class 1 trunking and trailer swaps
* Operating and driving Class 1 vehicles safely and efficiently
* Adhering to traffic laws and regulations
* Communicating effectively with dispatch and customers
* Reporting any vehicle defects or maintenance needs
* Ensuring all loads are safe and secure Essential Skills: The skills required as a HGV Class 1 Driver are: * A valid UK Category CE driving licence
* A minimum of 24 months' Class 1 driving experience
* No more than six penalty points (minor infringements only)
* A valid UK CPC card and digital tachograph card
