We are seeking empathetic, energetic, and resilient SEN Teaching Assistants to join an outstanding specialised school community in the East Grinstead area.
If you are looking to kick start a meaningful career in education, previous classroom experience is not required. We are fully equipped to train, mentor, and support individuals who possess the right mindset, a naturally caring nature, and a willingness to learn.
The Environment & The Role
In this role, you will be supporting unique children and young adults (aged 4-25) who require specialised, attentive care to thrive. You will work alongside a passionate team of educators, therapists, and support staff to make learning accessible, safe, and fun.
The student group includes young people navigating:
- Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)
- Epilepsy and neurological conditions
- Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD)
- Complex communication and sensory needs
You will assist with daily classroom activities, implement creative learning ideas, and help students develop crucial life and social skills in both indoor and outdoor learning environments.
