Childrens Home Registered Manager

£49.27k - £56.77k per annum

Let's be honest. This isn't a job advert for everyone.

If you've worked in residential childcare, you'll know that organisations face challenges. Compass has been no different. Some homes have experienced periods of instability. We've made decisions that, with hindsight, could have been better. Some homes have closed, some teams have changed, and we've listened carefully to feedback from colleagues, regulators and the children we support.

Rather than ignore that, we've chosen to learn from it. We've strengthened our governance, invested in therapeutic services and increased the support available to our Registered Managers. And we've become clearer about the kind of organisation we want to be. That's where this role comes in.

We're looking for a Registered Manager who doesn't just want to maintain standards - but wants to help shape them. Someone who sees opportunity where others see difficulty. Someone who can build trust, create stability and create a home where children genuinely thrive.

  • Salary and bonus - competitive salary based on experience and home complexity, plus a performance bonus of up to £18,000 annually, paid quarterly
