Learning Mentor

£14.25 - £15.5 per hour

Learning Mentor 

Do you have the patience and kindness to support children on their journey through education? If you can bring a calm, consistent and supportive approach to everyday learning then this could be the ideal role for you. 

As a learning mentor you will be able to build trusting relationships and create consistency that allows pupils to engage with learning. 

What you'll do:

  • Support pupils on a 1:1 basis or within small groups
  • Create and deliver tailored strategies to help children engage and thrive
  • Support pupils to manage behaviour and build confidence
  • Monitor and track progress
  • Collaborate and communicate with pupils, staff and parents

What we're looking for:

  • Experience of working with children with SEN
  • Patience, adaptability, and a passion for helping children succeed
  • Confident behaviour management skills
  • Strong communication skills and resilience

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
