About the role:
GSL Education is working in partnership with a secondary school seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Head of Drama for a full-time, long-term position starting in September 2026. We are looking for a passionate leader with experience teaching Drama up to Key Stage 4, who can inspire students, lead the department, and drive high standards of teaching and learning. Head of Drama role:
The successful candidate will: * Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS).
* Have experience teaching Drama up to Key Stage 4.
* Have previous experience leading or supporting a curriculum area (desirable).
* Demonstrate excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
* Deliver engaging and creative Drama lessons that inspire students.
* Be committed to raising attainment and promoting a love of the performing arts.
