An Interim Financial Accountant is sought for an initial temporary role for a thriving technology company based in Yorkshire. The successful candidate will be a key part of the accounting and finance team, assisting with financial reporting and analysis. Initially a 4 month contract with view to extend and potentially long term.

Description
- Preparation and submission of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Assisting with budgeting and forecasting
- Performing financial analysis to support decision making
- Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations
- Working collaboratively with the accounting and finance team
- Contributing to process improvement initiatives within the finance department
- Supporting external audit processes
- Assisting with ad-hoc financial projects as required
Profile
A successful Interim Financial Accountant should have:
- A degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
- Professional certification such as ACCA, CIMA or equivalent
- Proven experience in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards and regulations
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in financial software and MS Office Suite
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
