• Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions to SEN students, addressing their individual learning needs and goals
• Develop and implement customised learning plans that incorporate a range of teaching methodologies and assistive technologies
• Monitor student progress, adjusting your approach as necessary to ensure continuous academic and personal growth
• Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated support system for each student
• Maintain detailed records of student progress and communicate effectively with the wider educational team

• Relevant teaching qualification or experience working with SEN students
• Thorough understanding of the diverse learning needs and challenges faced by SEN students
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and work collaboratively with students, parents, and colleagues
• Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple responsibilities effectively
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting the academic and personal growth of SEN students
• Willingness to continuously learn and adapt your teaching approach to meet the evolving needs of your students
• Fluency in English, both written and verbal

• Previous experience as a SEN Tutor or in a similar role
• Specialised training or qualifications in specific SEN areas (e.g. , dyslexia, autism, ADHD)

• Proficiency in using assistive technologies and educational software to enhance learning
