Personal Care Assistant for a female P/T@ £13.75/hr in Yarm - FTE - £26.8k

We are looking for kind, caring and reliable women who are keen to join a small team of PA’s working throughout the week to support a physically disabled woman in her own home.

Applicants must be female (due to personal care needs).

Past experience in care work isn’t required and all training needed will be given. What is important is your desire to make a difference by caring, your willingness to listen to individual needs and your ability to learn and provide support across a wide range of tasks both in the home such as domestic tasks like cleaning/cooking/baking, personal care, medications, monitoring health conditions and going out in the community.

A full UK driving licence is essential as you will need to be able to drive a wheelchair accessible vehicle as part of your role.

It is desirable that you should have some availability for occasional weekend and evening work shifts and be able to work during school holidays (please advise of any restrictions in your availability in your application).

The number of hours and days worked each week are agreed between PA and employer in advance to suit individual schedules and it has been found that this allows PAs the opportunity to achieve desired work / life balance while still making a significant difference in your working life.

Post is subject to references and DBS check.

At the time of starting work, the successful candidate must have permission to work in the UK.
