Art ECT - Creative Secondary School - Oxford - September...
An ambitious and creatively driven Art Early Career Teacher (ECT) is required to join a vibrant secondary school in Oxford from September 2026. The Role
Teaching Art and Design across KS3 and KS4, with the potential to contribute to A-Level Art, Photography, or Textiles as your professional experience develops.
Delivering high-quality, practical-led lessons that incorporate a wide range of techniques, from drawing and painting to printmaking and digital manipulation.
Participating in a structured ECT induction program, featuring a dedicated mentor, a reduced teaching timetable for professional study, and tailored CPD.

Utilizing modern digital tools and software to enhance curriculum delivery and student portfolio development.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) by September 2026.
A strong degree in Fine Art, Graphic Design, or a related creative discipline from a reputable university or art college.
A professional, tenacious, and highly methodical approach to classroom instruction and studio management.
Demonstrated success during teaching placements, with a portfolio of work that showcases both personal talent and the ability to inspire students.
Proficiency in using digital platforms and creative software to support interactive learning.
