About the Role

As Teacher of PE (Girls) , you will teach Physical Education across Key Stages 3 and 4 , with the potential to contribute to GCSE PE / BTEC Sport (and possibly KS5) depending on experience and timetable.

You will deliver a well-sequenced curriculum that develops:

• High-quality practical teaching that builds skill, confidence and enjoyment

• Positive attitudes to participation, fitness and healthy lifestyles

• Strong routines, high expectations and an inclusive approach to all learners

• Leadership, teamwork and resilience through competitive and non-competitive activity

You will also contribute to extra-curricular sport, fixtures and enrichment opportunities, helping to build a strong sporting culture and broad participation across the school.

Experience and Qualifications

The successful candidate will:

• Hold QTS (or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification)

• Have strong subject knowledge in Physical Education

• Deliver engaging, well-structured lessons with high expectations and strong routines

• Promote inclusion and positive participation for all students

• Contribute to extra-curricular sport and wider school enrichment

• Use assessment effectively to support progress and build confidence

• Work collaboratively within a supportive PE team
