ICON Strategic Solutions seeks a Senior Clinical Trial Manager to lead study delivery operations in a sponsor-dedicated model, focusing on non-interventional studies. The role combines cross-functional team leadership with end-to-end management of complex clinical trial design, execution, and reporting across multiple therapeutic and methodological areas.
Responsibilities
- Oversee clinical trial operations and manage diverse team in sponsor-dedicated model
- Direct end-to-end delivery of non-interventional studies including primary and secondary data collection
- Manage complex trial designs: retrospective, prospective, post-authorization safety, real-world evidence studies
- Lead cross-functional matrix teams to deliver clinical plans and manage programme change
- Support economic modelling studies, meta-analyses, and supplemental clinical trial analyses
Requirements
- Minimum 4+ years clinical trial management experience at CRO or pharma
- Bachelor's degree in health/life sciences or advanced degree (MS, PhD, PharmD)
- 10+ years relevant clinical trial management experience
- Experience managing complex or global trials
- Proficiency in managing trial components from start-up to database lock
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and external CRO oversight
- Strong problem-solving skills for identifying and resolving programme-level issues
