SEND Teaching Assistant – Longbenton (Full-Time)

Protocol Education is recruiting a full-time SEND Teaching Assistant to join a specialist school in Longbenton . This is a fantastic opportunity to support pupils with a range of additional needs, including Autism, ADHD and moderate learning difficulties. What you'll be doing

• Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
• Helping learners access lessons through tailored support
• Encouraging positive behaviour and emotional regulation
• Supporting communication, confidence and independence
• Working closely with teachers, therapists and SEND professionals
• Adapting classroom resources where needed
• Celebrating every success, big or small

Experience in education, care, coaching or youth work is welcomed but not essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
