Fixed Income ETF Trader / Head of Desk

Quant Capital is urgently looking for a Head Fixed Income ETF Trader with experience of trading in capital markets to join our high profile client.
Our client is a well known hedge fund, Prop trading business and market maker. They are 80 people in London and have a family feel. They run around £9 billion. They run an Options Market making, a systematic Equities and ETF Strategy.
We are looking for an experienced trader as the ETF business looks to expand aggressively.
This is a unique opportunity for an ambitious candidate to work in a senior role within the trading team, focusing on building, enhancing and maintaining the Algorithmic Product suite.
Fixed Income ETF Traders MUST have:
• STEM Degree from a top UK or US School
• Strong Knowledge of the ETF Space
• Ideally Fixed Income experience, Equities would also be possible
• Experience at a bank fund, prop shop or Fund
• Understanding of trading technology and platforms
• Ideally Python
This is an outstanding opportunity to join a growing trading business at a time of significant and interesting growth within the sector.
You will gain massive exposure to trading infrastructure in a low latency trading environment as well as the option of a PnL share.
The ideal candidate will be able to expand the desk globally to include emerging markets and a global pricing model rebuild.
