Skills and Competencies

• Fluency in English required; London-based candidates must also be fluent in an additional language, such as French, German, Italian, or Spanish
• Relevant experience or projects, including internships, preferred

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Information Systems, Management, or another relevant area
• Anticipated graduation date of June 2027
• Availability to start as part of the July 2027 cohort

Responsibilities

Develop commercial and client-facing skills through rotations across key sales and customer-focused functions. Participants will complete up to three eight-month rotations across Sales Development, Client Support, Marketing, and Sales Operations.

Sales Operations:

• Support contracting activities for renewals and new business by assessing business needs, preparing documentation, and confirming alignment with client requirements and organizational standards
• Coordinate responses to requests for proposals by gathering relevant information from multiple teams and supporting timely, accurate submissions

Client Support:

• Manage client service inquiries through phone, email, and chat in a courteous, professional, accurate, and timely manner
• Build effective working relationships with colleagues across Customer Engagement, Sales, Product Management, Data, Research, and other business functions

Marketing:

• Support marketing events and campaigns, create customer-facing communications, and generate reports and analytics that inform marketing insights

Sales Development Representative:

• Conduct prospect and account research, lead outreach campaigns, identify new contacts, and develop an understanding of customer needs
• Qualify prospective opportunities and direct leads to the appropriate sales professionals for continued development

About the Team

The Moody’s Sales Rotation Program is a two-year early-careers program designed to develop well-rounded, client-facing professionals through structured rotations, on-the-job learning, mentorship, and regular feedback. Associates join a cohort in New York or London and gain exposure to Sales Development, Client Support, Marketing, and Sales Operations while building an understanding of Moody’s data, products, processes, and customers. The team values collaboration, curiosity, integrity, and measurable results and encourages participants to explore how artificial intelligence and other digital tools can responsibly improve workflows, efficiency, and the customer experience. Upon successful completion of the program, participants may be considered for placement within Moody’s commercial organization based on business needs and individual preferences.
