Child in Need (CIN) Social Worker

Join One of Londons Most Diverse and Forward-Thinking Local Authorities Eden Brown Synergy is currently recruiting for an experienced Child in Need (CIN) Social Worker to join a high-performing Childrens Services team in the London Borough of Newham. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated practitioner to work with children and families in need of support, delivering purposeful interventions that achieve positive and sustainable outcomes. You will manage a varied caseload, undertaking assessments, developing child-centred plans, and working closely with partner agencies to safeguard and improve the lives of children and young people. Key Responsibilities Managing a caseload of Child in Need, Child Protection and Children & Families cases Completing assessments and producing high-quality, outcome-focused plans Undertaking statutory visits and direct work with children and families Working collaboratively with education, health and partner agencies Preparing reports and presenting at meetings, reviews and conferences Ensuring all practice is in line with current legislation, policy and safeguarding procedures Requirements Social Work England registration A recognised Social Work qualification Minimum 3 years post-qualified experience within Children's Services Previous experience managing CIN and Child Protection caseloads Strong assessment and risk management skills Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced statutory setting Why Newham?
