Responsibilities: * Support secondary school pupils with behaviour management, emotional regulation and engagement. * Work alongside subject teachers to minimise disruption and encourage participation in lessons. * Build positive, professional relationships with pupils across different year groups. * Help students manage transitions between lessons and follow school routines. * Support pupils who experience barriers to learning, using appropriate behaviour strategies. * Monitor behaviour and progress, reporting concerns and relevant observations to teaching and pastoral staff. * Follow school policies to maintain a safe, respectful and inclusive environment. Requirements: * Previous experience supporting children or young people, particularly adolescents, is desirable. * Strong communication and behaviour management skills. * A calm, patient and consistent approach when dealing with challenging behaviour. * Confidence working with pupils across Key Stages 3 and 4. * Ability to work collaboratively with subject teachers and pastoral teams. * A genuine commitment to helping young people improve their behaviour, engagement and educational outcomes.
