Subject Tutor (Nottingham Campus - Woodborough Road)

Are you passionate about empowering young people with complex behavioural needs? Our Woodborough Road – Nottingham campus provides a nurturing, sensory-rich, and person-centred learning environment for learners aged 16-25. As a key member of our team, you will deliver personalised study programmes, ensuring each learner’s journey aligns with their Education, Health, and Care Plan (EHCP) outcomes. The successful candidate will deliver engaging individual and group sessions focused on emotional resilience and self-regulation as well as working closely with our multi-disciplinary team, including therapists and learning mentors, to provide holistic, wraparound support. You will guide Learning Mentors in embedding therapeutic teaching practices, with a strong focus on high-quality, person-centred teaching and learning tailored to the individual needs of learners with complex behavioural challenges. Qualifications needed -A recognised teaching qualification at Education and Training Level 4 (or equivalent) or willingness to work towards this within an agreed timeframe. -English and Maths Level 2 qualification or willingness to achieve this within an agreed timeframe. -TAQA Level 3 (or equivalent assessment qualification) or willingness to work towards this within an agreed timeframe. -To be trained in Non-Abusive Psychological and Physical Intervention (NAPPI) at Level 3 or willingness to work towards. -Qualifications in Positive Behaviour Support or willingness to achieve this within an agreed timeframe. Working Hours Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week – Core hours 8:45am – 4:45pm.
