About You

At BMT, our values shape everything we do. We're looking for curious, analytical graduates who enjoy using data and technology to solve complex real-world problems. You may be early in your career, but you'll bring a logical approach to problem-solving, a willingness to learn, and the confidence to ask questions and seek evidence when tackling new challenges. You'll enjoy collaborating with colleagues from different disciplines and be able to communicate your ideas clearly, whether to technical or non-technical audiences.

You will have a degree, equivalent qualification or demonstrable experience in a discipline involving programming, data, quantitative analysis or scientific problem-solving, such as Data Science, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Physics or Economics. You'll have practical experience using Python for data or analytical projects and a foundation in data preparation, statistics, machine learning and AI principles. Just as importantly, you'll bring curiosity, integrity, adaptability and a genuine enthusiasm for continuous learning.

Whilst experience in Defence or consultancy is not required, you should be interested in working within regulated, high-consequence environments where quality, integrity and the responsible use of data and AI are essential. Experience with technologies such as SQL, Power Query, Git, cloud services, APIs, data pipelines, machine learning or generative AI would be advantageous but is not essential.
