Music Teacher Opportunity – Merton Secondary School
Our client, a highly regarded secondary school in Merton, is seeking a dedicated Music Teacher to join their thriving department starting in September 2024. This full-time, permanent position offers an exceptional opportunity for a qualified and experienced Music professional to inspire and nurture the next generation of musicians.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver engaging and innovative Music lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
- Create a stimulating and supportive learning environment for all students.
- Assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their musical development.
- Contribute to the ongoing development of the school's Music curriculum.
- Collaborate with colleagues within the Music department and across the wider school community.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Music or a related field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Proven experience teaching Music at the secondary level.
- A strong understanding of the current UK Music curriculum.
- A commitment to fostering a love of Music in students of all abilities.
