Cleaning Operative / Key Holder – 12.5 Hours per Week
DE73 6TU | £12.71 per hour | Permanent position
We’re looking for a reliable and professional Cleaning Operative / Key Holder to join our team at a site in DE73 6TU.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys practical, hands-on work and likes to get the job done and leave work at work. You’ll be responsible for maintaining high cleaning standards across the site and will also take responsibility for securing the building at the end of your shift.
You must be able to travel to the site. Own transport is advantageous.
Hours of Work
- Monday and Friday - 05:00am to 08.15am - 3 hours 15 minutes per shift
- Tuesday to Thursday - 06:00am to 08:00am - 2 hours per shift
- 12.5 hours per week total
- Reduced hours during school holiday to 3 hours per week (mon and Fri - 1.5 hours per shift)
The Role
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining consistently high standards of cleanliness
- Completing daily cleaning tasks across the site
- Using a floor machine as part of the daily cleaning routine
- Working safely and following cleaning procedures
- Reporting any issues or maintenance concerns to management
- Ensuring the site is securely locked at the end of the shift
What We’re Looking For
- Previous professional cleaning experience essential
- Experience using a floor machine preferred
- Reliable, punctual and takes pride in their work
- Comfortable working early morning shifts
- Able to travel to DE73 6TU
- Able to provide at least one previous employment reference
- Knowledge of COSHH procedures preferred
Pay & Benefits
