We are working with a very good firm in London that has a strong focus on renewables and clean energy and a desire to grow further with the right, senior lawyers who have a profile and focus in the sector and also a willingness to look at law firm practice from a less traditional perspective.
This team undertake both domestic and international work and are happy to talk to lawyers who have either focus, but ideally both. Where it is overseas this is normally Africa and ME. And the range of advisory and transactional work runs the full scale, from Regulatory and disputes, Commercial, Projects, Finance and M&A. The team have the breadth of skills to provide full-service support for any renewables project.
The team is packed with rated partners with a long-standing commitment to the sector, and accordingly profile, and they in turn would like to talk to lawyers with a similar reputation and good client relationships. Sector experience is the key here, as is confidence in your own business and a desire to work with like-minded lawyers who have a deep knowledge and passion for the clean energy market in all its forms.
As with most firms now there is considerable flexibility for any incoming lateral. You can work flexibly, and the firm is location agnostic (though London based). There is less emphasis on targets than you may find elsewhere, but that is not to say the firm is not financially sound and profitable.
