About The Role

£14.00–£14.50 per hour + £100 per month on-call allowance | Full-time | Monday–Friday

As our Maintenance Person , you'll be the friendly face behind the scenes keeping St Pauls safe, comfortable and looking its best.

Every day brings something different. One minute you're tackling a plumbing job, the next you're fixing a door, putting up a picture, touching up some paintwork or sorting out one of those little jobs that simply needs someone who knows what they're doing.

You'll help look after the building, grounds and equipment, carry out routine checks and repairs, and work with the wider team to keep everything running smoothly.

We're looking for someone who is:

• Practical, hands-on and naturally good at fixing things
• Confident with general maintenance and DIY
• Happy turning their hand to decorating and finishing jobs
• Comfortable with basic plumbing and general repairs
• Able to carry out basic maintenance checks
• Someone who spots a job that needs doing — and gets on with it
• Friendly, reliable and respectful of the people who call St Pauls home

You don't need to be a superhero. You just need to be someone who takes pride in doing a good job, is happy to get stuck in and understands that the little things can make a big difference.

Required Criteria

• The right to live and work in the UK
• A clean, valid Driving Licence
• Skilled in painting and decorating, basic electrics and basic plumbing
• Knowledge of Health and Safety and Fire Safety
• Understanding of general maintenance work / DIY and experience of dealing with minor repairs
• Good communication skills with the ability to work as part of a team
• Good health and fitness, the post involves lifting and requires physical stamina

Desired Criteria

• Previous experience in a care home environment
