More about your role
Our Inclusion Specialist will lead a new approach to teacher development, fostering expertise and confidence across the workforce. Acting as a poolside expert, the specialist will educate other teachers on inclusive delivery, promoting confidence without isolation.
You will be expected to teach a variety of classes in the water including one to ones, small groups and supporting a child in mainstream lessons. You will also drive the programme, increase occupancy and organise meet and greets with parents.

At Places Leisure we are looking for someone who has a deep understanding of the needs of individuals with disabilities and a proven track record of delivering swimming activities that are safe, enjoyable, and challenging for this group.
You should ideally hold a minimum of SEQ Level 2. It would be advantageous if you hold a Lifesaving Qualification (NPLQ or NRASTC), however, if you are a motivated and driven individual, then with our continuous learning and development opportunities, we would be happy to support you in achieving either of these qualifications.
