We are looking to grow our team by recruiting a Graduate Trainee for our London office. This is an entry-level role working within our Account Team, with the opportunity for progression to Account Executive within 12 months. The successful candidate will take on a client-focused role, delivering political and community engagement services to clients. This position will suit a recently qualified graduate with experience in engaging the public. Strong research and analytical skills are paramount, together with sensitivity to community-based issues.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Working with the account team to deliver the day-to-day running of client accounts and to ensure that all work is produced in a timely fashion and to the highest quality.
• Working with the wider team to deliver public consultation programmes for client projects, including public exhibitions, community liaison forums, attendance at community meetings and engagement with the general public.
• Researching key legislation and initiatives that are relevant to a particular client sector or the company.
• Researching political and regulatory landscapes for current clients and when new business opportunities arise for the company.

REQUIREMENTS

Experience:
Ideally, the successful candidate will have;

• Work experience in a customer-focused role or related to their degree, either in an intern/trainee role or in a voluntary capacity,
• Good basic knowledge of politics, current affairs and government in Westminster and across the UK.
• Experience using office based software, and generally IT competent.

Education:

• Candidates must be educated to a degree level in a relevant discipline (Social Sciences, Humanities).
