Responsibilities

• Design and deliver engaging and differentiated Science lessons to students
• Implement effective assessment strategies to track student progress
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student participation and engagement
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to develop and implement curriculum plans
• Provide timely and constructive feedback to students to support their academic growth
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student attendance, grades, and behaviour
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress and achievements

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Science or related field
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification
• Prior experience teaching Science at the primary or secondary level
• Strong subject knowledge in Science and an understanding of the national curriculum
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to effectively manage a classroom and create a positive learning environment
• Commitment to continuous professional development and keeping up-to-date with the latest educational practices
