Smart Solutions is recruiting for a unique opportunity for an experienced HGV Class 1 ADR Driver to join a growing clinical waste operation as its first Clinic Support Lead.

This is far more than a standard driving role. You’ll become the face of the business, working directly with high-end aesthetics, dental, and medical clinics, delivering a premium, professional service while helping shape the future of a growing company.

This role is ideal for someone with strong customer-facing experience, ideally within clinical waste, washroom services, or specialist collections, who enjoys responsibility, autonomy, and being part of a business from the ground up.

Quarterly £1,000 Service Excellence Bonus
£10,000 Founding Member Bonus once the business reaches 500 active clinic accounts

The Role

Carry out daily collection routes for clinical and hazardous waste (ADR Class 6.2)
Visit aesthetics clinics, dental practices, and medical sites across the region
Safely collect, transport, and handle clinical waste materials
Complete all Hazardous Waste Consignment Notes and Waste Transfer Notes accurately
Deliver a discreet, professional, customer-focused service at every site
Swap bins professionally and maintain high service standards
Work closely with the Founder to improve routes and collection efficiency
Maintain a clean, presentable vehicle that reflects the premium client base
Represent the company professionally and build strong customer relationships
What We’re Looking For

Valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) Licence
Valid ADR Vocational Training Certificate including Class 6.2 (Infectious Substances)
Valid Driver CPC & Digital Tachograph Card
Clean driving licence
Previous customer-facing experience preferred
Experience in clinical waste, washroom services, hazardous waste, or specialist collections is highly advantageous
DBS cleared (or willing to undergo an enhanced DBS check)
Proof of Hepatitis B vaccination (or willingness to obtain it)
Professional, reliable, and safety-focused attitude
Comfortable in a startup-style environment where routes and processes evolve
