Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging history lessons to students, focusing on key concepts, events, and themes.
• Foster a positive learning environment that promotes curiosity, critical thinking, and a love for history.
• Assess students' progress and provide constructive feedback to support their learning journey.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum plans and teaching materials.
• Maintain accurate records of students' achievements, attendance, and behaviour.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues regarding students' progress and any concerns or improvements needed.
• Engage in continuous professional development to stay up-to-date with the latest teaching techniques and educational developments.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in Education or a relevant field.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
• Proven experience as a History Teacher, preferably in primary or secondary education.
• Excellent knowledge of history curriculum and instructional techniques.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Demonstrated ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons that cater to different learning styles and abilities.
• A genuine passion for history and inspiring young minds.
