SEN Teaching Assistant - Gainsborough, Lincolnshire

GSL Education are seeking a passionate, caring and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school in Gainsborough, Lincolnshire .

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous experience in SEN, education, care or support work who is looking to make a real difference to the lives of children and young people.

The Role:

* Supporting pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs
* Working closely with teachers and support staff to provide effective, individualised support
* Helping pupils engage with learning and develop their confidence, independence and social skills
* Supporting the emotional and wellbeing needs of pupils
* Monday-Friday availability required
* Initially working on a supply basis , with the opportunity to progress into a long-term or permanent position

✅ We're Looking For:

* Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar SEN role
* Alternatively, experience in Care Work, Support Work or a similar setting
* A patient, compassionate and supportive approach
* Confidence working with children and young people
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
* Reliability and commitment to working Monday-Friday
* A genuine passion for helping pupils overcome barriers and achieve their potential
