Credit & Collections Representative (German Speaker)

Thermo Fisher Scientific seeks a German-speaking Credit & Collections Representative for their Paisley office to manage a customer portfolio of up to 300 accounts. The role involves debt collection, credit management, account investigations, and cross-functional collaboration in a hybrid environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage allocated customer portfolio, balancing debt collection with customer relationships
- Contact customers proactively to discuss outstanding invoices and arrange payment timelines
- Investigate complex account issues and conduct root-cause analysis for sustainable solutions
- Assess and maintain credit limits for new and existing customers in line with policy
- Review accounts and make decisions on credit holds and order release timing
Requirements
- Fluent in German and English, written and spoken
- Credit & Collections, Accounts Receivable, or strong Customer Service experience
- Excellent customer communication and relationship-building abilities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Outlook
- Ability to prioritize multiple accounts and work independently when investigating issues
- Experience with Oracle E1, SAP, or CForia systems preferred but not essential
