Special Needs Teaching Assistant (1:1 Support - Year 1, ASD)

A welcoming primary school in Chiswick is looking for a dedicated Special Needs Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a pupil with ASD in Year 1. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in a child's learning and development.
The role:
- Provide 1:1 support for a pupil with ASD
- Assist in classroom learning and activities alongside the class teacher
- Help develop social, emotional, and communication skills
- Support behaviour management and ensure the pupil feels included and safe
- Work closely with the SENCo and wider staff team
The ideal candidate will:
- Have experience supporting pupils with ASD or other SEN needs
- Be patient, understanding, and proactive
- Be able to build strong relationships with pupils and staff
- Have a genuine passion for helping children thrive
