About the Role
As a Support Worker in the services, you’ll support adults with learning disabilities and additional needs to live meaningful, fulfilled lives in a residential setting. The role is varied, hands‑on, and centred around promoting independence, dignity and choice.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing day‑to‑day practical and emotional support
- Supporting individuals with personal care in a respectful, person‑centred way
- Encouraging and enabling independence and life skills
- Supporting people to access community activities, appointments and social opportunities
- Promoting health, wellbeing and positive outcomes
- Working closely with colleagues, families and professionals
- Maintaining accurate records and care documentation
- Supporting individuals whose needs may include complex or challenging behaviours, using positive and proactive approaches
Full training and ongoing development are provided, so previous experience is helpful but not essential.

About The Service
We provide care and support to people with learning disabilities, autism and other complex needs including challenging behaviour. Our services are located in Llanelli, Ammanford, Carmarthenshire. We have additional services in West and East Wales.
