Open Post: Experienced ASIAN Stage Actor Aged 35-45 For Corporate Video AND Live Stage Event. Paid £700 - 800 Per Day

We're currently looking to cast a stage actor for an exciting project. The project involves several filming days in August for a short corporate film for one of our clients, followed by a one-day live event in London in November, where the same actors will perform an on-stage acted phone call. You must be able to attend both.

At this stage, there is no future usage so we are considering a rough budget of £700-£800 per day as a day rate for the actors' time, with any expenses / diems agreed in advance.

Both the filming and the live event will take place in London, and as such we are looking for actors based in London who won't require overnight accommodation.

Ideally Indian/Pakistan ethnicity but 100% British accent

Able to appear scruffy but quietly confident and intelligent

Required for small part in video – filming TBC but likely to be in August

Required also for rehearsal November 9th (afternoon) and performance at event November 10th (afternoon) at Vision Hall in London of four short scenes with character Ralph Timmins and 3 short monologues to the audience. Stage time estimated to be 12-15 minutes but may be shorter once final script edits are completed

Currently no plans for usage post event of any material created with the character of Akshay Timmins

· The castign brief for this character is:

Akshay Nayak, aged 43, serves as Timmins’ Chief Information and Security Officer, having joined the company just four months before the major cyberattack. He inherited an outdated IT structure from his predecessor, who retired after 42 years with the firm. Formerly in a senior London role, Akshay relocated to be nearer his aging parents in Hull. Highly intelligent and deeply experienced, he is humble, quiet and unassuming—never one to raise his voice. He recognises that Timmins’ current IT systems are inadequate and faces the challenge of working under Managing Director Ralf Timmins, who resists change and investment in technology. Ralf, finding Akshay scruffy and overly focused on detail, has yet to warm to him, preferring his long ‑ serving predecessor.

Payment is subject to Talent Talks commission, this being 15% for subscribed Talent Talks members and 20% for non-subscribed Talent Talks members.
