Geography Teacher

A progressive Secondary Academy in Southampton is seeking a professional and highly organised Geography Teacher to join their experienced Humanities team. Responsibilities will include maintaining student progress records, updating school tracking systems, managing departmental correspondence, supporting attendance administration, and assisting with the organisation of local field studies, ecological initiatives, and cross-departmental data mapping.

You will also support communication with parents, students, and academic bodies while ensuring that information is handled professionally and confidentially at all times. Strong organisational skills are essential, as the role requires the ability to balance classroom teaching with outdoor educational logistics and manage multiple responsibilities within a busy school environment.

Requirements

• Previous teaching or relevant instructional experience in Geography up to GCSE and A-Level
