Learning Support Partner (1:1 - Autism)

Five Education is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Partner to work 1:1 with a child with Autism in a welcoming school setting in Bath (BA2). This is a full-time position, ideal for someone who is passionate about supporting children with additional needs and helping them thrive both academically and emotionally. You will work closely with school staff to provide tailored support, promote positive behaviour, and encourage engagement in learning. Who This Role Is For
This position would suit: Individuals from a support worker, care, youth work, or education background
Candidates with a calm, patient, and empathetic approach
People who enjoy working consistently with the same child and building strong relationships
Prior experience with Autism is ideal but not essential, as training and ongoing support will be provided. Key Responsibilities
Provide 1:1 support to a pupil with Autism
Support learning, emotional regulation, and social development
Adapt activities to meet individual needs
Work closely with teachers and SEN staff
Encourage independence and positive classroom engagement
