Position

As pizza chef, you’ll be an instrumental part of the kitchen team, owning our pizzeria section and crafting authentic pizzas from preparing the dough to the final finishing touches, to help create the best moment of our guest’s day!

Your Main Duties As Pizza Chef Involve

• Responsibly and effectively leading the shift with a calm and approachable demeanour, maintaining clear communication between the front and back of house
• Following recipe specification sheets accurately with focus on delivering consistent high-quality pizza’s
• Carrying out critical health & food safety legal compliances to the highest standards
• Maintaining high levels of cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen at all times
• Hold up to date knowledge of the key food allergens and what risks may be posed
• Contribute to building an upbeat team-spirit with enthusiasm, passion and a can-do attitude.
• Providing consistently exceptional service to our guests, delivering well executed & pleasingly presented food in a timely manner.
• Collaborating with wider kitchen team to ensure smooth service and shift cover
• Daily kitchen due diligence and procedures such as stock takes, ordering and food and storage temperature records

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Pizza Chef in a high volume environment
• Knowledge of traditional Italian pizza-making techniques
• Ability to lead shifts whilst maintaining consistent high food hygiene standards and due diligence procedures
• A committed and passionate attitude to the role, always looking to improve and have a positive response to feedback
• Shown consistently high working standards including attention to detail
• Great energy, proactive attitude and team spirit
• Strong communication skills and love for teamwork
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends
