A well-regarded and inspiring secondary school in Bath is seeking a creative and enthusiastic Art ECT to join its successful Art department from September. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate Art ECT to begin their teaching career within a school that values creativity, expression, and high-quality teaching.
The successful Art ECT will teach Art across KS3 and KS4, working alongside an experienced and collaborative department committed to developing Early Career Teachers.

The Role
The school is looking for an enthusiastic Art ECT who can deliver engaging and imaginative lessons that inspire students to explore their creativity and develop strong artistic skills. The successful Art ECT will benefit from a structured induction programme and ongoing support from experienced colleagues.
Responsibilities of the Art ECT include:
Teaching Art across KS3 and KS4
Planning creative lessons across a range of media including drawing, painting, and mixed media
Supporting students in developing coursework portfolios and creative projects
Monitoring pupil progress and providing constructive feedback
Contributing to displays, exhibitions, and wider Art department activities

The Ideal Candidate
The successful Art ECT will:
Be completing or have recently completed a PGCE or teacher training programme in Art
Be able to teach Art across KS3 and KS4
Demonstrate creativity and enthusiasm for visual arts education
Have strong communication and organisational skills
Be eager to develop professionally within an inspiring school environment
