Specialist Pharmacist Primary Care - Band 7

We have an opportunity available within Aberdeenshire Formartine cluster covering GP practices & Community Hospital in Turriff, Ellon, Haddo, Fyvie-Oldmedrum

Full time 36h, part time (min 3 days, 21.6h/week will be considered)

Monday – Friday

We have an exciting opportunity for a registered pharmacist to join the Pharmacotherapy teams working across Aberdeenshire. The post holder will join a team of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians and be key to the ongoing provision of the pharmacotherapy service and promoting quality, cost-effective prescribing of medicines.

The post holder will support GP practices and community hospitals, covering all aspects of medicines management in line with local and national guidelines.

You may have a community or hospital pharmacy background. Good communication, interpersonal and time management skills are essential.

Experience of working within Primary Care, medicines management and audit would be an advantage .

Independent Prescriber qualification would be an advantage .

The post will include onsite working in GP Practices and / or remote working from an agreed base within the HSCP cluster area – options can be discussed with one of the Lead Pharmacists and we encourage this ahead of applying.

A full driving licence essential.
