Job Purpose - We’re looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Lecturer in Computing to join our established and supportive team based primarily at our Rhos-on-Sea campus. The successful candidate will teach across our Further Education and Higher Education programmes (Levels 3–6), delivering high-quality, engaging learning experiences that help students develop the skills they need for industry and further study.
What We’re Looking For
- A degree in Computing, Computer Science or a related field.
- Practical experience in programming (Python, C#, Java).
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Desirable: knowledge of databases, networking or cybersecurity; experience teaching in Further/Higher Education.
If you’re new to teaching, we’ll support you to achieve a recognised teaching qualification. You will also have access to ongoing CPD, mentoring and opportunities to broaden your technical and pedagogical skills.

Holiday Entitlement
- 46 days leave per annum.
- All normally observed public holidays, determined annually.

- Part Time contracts will receive a pro rata entitlement to the above.
Working Pattern
37 hours per week.
835 hours annual teaching time – 24 to 26 hours teaching per week.
Up to 5 hours per week working off site in agreement with manager
