The RoleAs an Air Export Operator, you will play a key role in coordinating international export shipments, ensuring documentation is completed accurately, customs requirements are met, and customers receive a first-class service throughout the shipping process.

The RoleAs an Air Export Operator, you will play a key role in coordinating international export shipments, ensuring documentation is completed accurately, customs requirements are met, and customers receive a first-class service throughout the shipping process.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage air export shipments from booking through to departure
- Prepare Air Waybills (AWBs), export declarations and all required shipping documentation
- Complete and submit customs documentation in line with export regulations
- Liaise with customers, Control Towers, airlines and internal departments to provide shipment updates
- Track and monitor shipments, ensuring any issues are resolved quickly and professionally
- Maintain accurate shipment records and operational data
- Ensure compliance with customs legislation, aviation security requirements and company procedures
- Deliver excellent customer service while managing multiple shipments and deadlines
- Previous experience within Air Freight Export Operations
- Good understanding of export processes and customs documentation
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to prioritise workload and solve problems efficiently
- Experience using CargoWise would be advantageous
- AVSEC (Warehouse & Transport) qualification is desirable
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Monday to Friday
- 9:00am – 6:00pm plus one Saturday per month
- 40 hours per week
- £13.80 per hour
