As a Drama teacher, you will have the opportunity to inspire and engage students in the creative arts. Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Drama lessons, tailored to students' abilities and interests
• Develop students' performance skills, confidence, and creativity through workshops and practical activities
• Collaborate with colleagues to create and implement a comprehensive Drama curriculum
• Assess and evaluate students' progress, providing constructive feedback and support
• Maintain accurate records of students' achievements, attendance, and behaviour
• Communicate effectively with parents, providing regular updates on students' progress and addressing any concerns
• Participate in school events, such as productions, competitions, and parent-teacher meetings

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Drama, Performing Arts, or a related field
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Experience teaching Drama to primary and secondary school students
• Strong knowledge of Drama theory, techniques, and curriculum frameworks
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
• Passion for Drama and the ability to inspire and engage students in the creative arts
• Ability to create a safe and inclusive learning environment
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to plan and deliver effective lessons
