Site Supervisor
A successful Secondary School in Carlisle is seeking a reliable and proactive Site Supervisor to join its premises team on a full-time, permanent basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced individual to play a vital role in maintaining a safe, secure and welcoming environment for students, staff and visitors. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day supervision of the school site and will contribute significantly to ensuring that facilities are maintained to the highest standards.
The role will involve overseeing the security, maintenance and general presentation of the school buildings and grounds. You will be responsible for opening and closing the site, carrying out routine inspections, monitoring health and safety compliance and responding promptly to maintenance issues as they arise.
You will undertake minor repairs, coordinate with external contractors and support larger maintenance projects where required. Responsibilities will also include preparing rooms and facilities for school events, assisting with deliveries and ensuring that the site remains clean, safe and fully operational throughout the school day.
The successful candidate will be highly organised, practical and capable of working independently. Strong problem-solving skills, a proactive attitude and a commitment to maintaining high standards are essential for success in this role.
You will work closely with the leadership team and premises staff to ensure that the school environment supports outstanding teaching, learning and student wellbeing.
