KPI Education is working in partnership with a high-performing and academically ambitious secondary school in Camden to recruit a talented Graduate Oxbridge Academic Mentor to join their team from September 2026. The Role As a Graduate Oxbridge Academic Mentor, you will support ambitious students across Key Stages 4 and 5, helping to stretch and challenge high attainers while also supporting students aiming for competitive university applications. You will work closely with teaching staff and pastoral leaders to deliver high-level academic support, enrichment activities, and subject-specific mentoring. Key Responsibilities * Provide 1:1 and small group academic mentoring for high-achieving students.
* Support Oxbridge, Russell Group, and competitive university applicants with academic development.
* Deliver subject-specific intervention sessions in your specialist subject area.
* Help students develop critical thinking, essay writing, and exam technique skills.
* Support UCAS applications, personal statements, and interview preparation (where appropriate).
* Assist teachers in planning and delivering extension and enrichment activities.
* Track student progress and provide academic feedback to staff.
* Inspire and motivate students to aim for top university destinations. Candidate Requirements * A minimum 2:1 degree (preferably Oxbridge or Russell Group) in a core academic subject
* Strong academic background and subject expertise.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* A genuine passion for academic excellence and student achievement.
* Confidence in working with high-attaining students.
* Strong interpersonal, organisational, and mentoring skills.
