Salary: £150 - £230 per day (depending on experience)

Contract Type: Day-to-day / Long Term, Full-time / Part-time

Are you a passionate Year 1 Teacher ready to inspire young learners at a crucial stage of their development?

GSL Education are seeking enthusiastic and committed Year 1 Teachers to work in schools across Nottingham (NG1) .

As a Year 1 Teacher , you will deliver structured yet creative lessons that build confidence, independence, and a love for learning. This is a fantastic opportunity for a nurturing and engaging educator to support pupils as they develop key foundational skills.

Responsibilities of a Year 1 Teacher:

* Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the Key Stage 1 curriculum
* Support pupils' development in phonics, literacy, and numeracy
* Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
* Use creative teaching strategies to engage and motivate young learners
* Assess, monitor, and track student progress effectively
* Support pupils' social, emotional, and behavioural development
* Work closely with teaching assistants and staff to support learning
* Build strong relationships with parents and carers

Year 1 Teacher Requirements:

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Experience teaching in EYFS or Key Stage 1 is desirable
* Strong understanding of early learning and phonics development
* A patient, creative, and nurturing teaching approach
* Excellent communication and classroom management skills
* A genuine passion for primary education
* An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
