A leading US firm is looking to grow its London Financial Services Regulatory practice and is keen to speak to associates with funds regulatory experience.
The firm has one of the leading funds platforms in the market, and it’s a really broad role, covering funds advisory, transactional regulatory work and ongoing sponsor-side compliance/general advisory. The team works with some of the biggest names in private capital and closely alongside the firm’s market-leading corporate and funds teams on high-value transactions involving regulated managers and businesses.
What I think is particularly interesting is that this isn’t a traditional, purely technical regulatory role. The team very much sees itself as a commercial adviser to its fund clients, so associates are encouraged to give pragmatic, solutions-focused advice and get properly involved in transactions.
Associates are also given a high level of responsibility and plenty of autonomy to shape their long term area of focus, alongside clear long-term progression opportunities.
