Candidate profile: In this role, you will work with clients to understand their business challenges and identify opportunities where AI can deliver meaningful outcomes. You'll help shape AI strategies, define solution roadmaps, and lead the delivery of innovative AI capabilities from proof of concept through to production, ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, ethical, and aligned to business objectives. Working across multidisciplinary teams, you'll combine technical expertise with strategic thinking to deliver measurable value while contributing to the continued growth of CGI's AI capability. You'll play a key role in designing, developing, and deploying advanced AI solutions using Machine Learning, Generative AI, Natural Language Processing, Computer Vision, and Advanced Analytics. You'll also guide experimentation, communicate complex technical concepts clearly to stakeholders, and continuously optimise AI solutions to improve customer experiences, operational efficiency, and business decision-making. Key responsibilities: Lead & Deliver end-to-end AI engagements from discovery through to deployment and optimisation. Develop & Implement AI strategies and technology roadmaps aligned to client objectives. Design & Build Machine Learning, Generative AI, NLP, and Computer Vision solutions. Experiment & Validate models through structured testing and iterative refinement. Collaborate & Advise clients and cross-functional teams to identify high-value AI opportunities. Translate & Communicate technical findings into practical business recommendations. Optimise & Scale AI solutions using robust engineering and MLOps practices. Champion & Promote responsible AI, security, privacy, and governance throughout solution delivery. Required qualifications to be successful in this role You'll bring commercial experience delivering AI solutions alongside a strong technical foundation across modern AI technologies and software engineering practices. You should be comfortable working directly with clients, translating complex business requirements into innovative AI solutions, and collaborating across multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality outcomes. Essential qualifications: Proven experience delivering AI solutions in a commercial consulting or client-facing environment. Strong expertise in Machine Learning, Generative AI, Natural Language Processing, Advanced Analytics, and ideally Computer Vision. Excellent Python development skills with frameworks such as pandas, scikit-learn, TensorFlow or PyTorch, and LangChain. Experience with cloud AI services including AWS Bedrock, Azure Machine Learning, or Google Cloud AI Platform. Good understanding of data engineering, model deployment, and MLOps best practices. Experience with Git-based development, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to design scalable AI architectures. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Proven ability to build trusted client relationships and work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
