We are currently working with a welcoming Primary PRU in Bedford that is looking for a resilient, patient and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant in Bedford to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience supporting children with SEMH, challenging behaviour or additional needs who wants to work in a smaller, nurturing environment.

As a Teaching Assistant - Bedford, you will work closely with primary-aged pupils who may have experienced difficulties within mainstream education. You will provide classroom support, help pupils re-engage with learning and build positive relationships that encourage confidence and progress.

The setting offers a structured and supportive environment, with small groups and a strong focus on individualised support, behaviour management and helping pupils develop the skills they need to succeed.

Experience working with children or young people in an education, care or support setting
Confidence supporting pupils with challenging or dysregulated behaviour
A calm, patient and consistent approach
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Experience with SEMH, SEND, trauma or alternative provision would be highly beneficial
Someone who is passionate about helping children overcome barriers to learningWhy consider this role?

£95-£120 per day, depending on experience
