At LKQ UK&I, we're transforming the way customers shop for automotive parts and accessories online. We're looking for an experienced Ecommerce Merchandising Manager to lead our online merchandising strategy, ensuring customers can easily discover the right products while maximising conversion, revenue, and customer satisfaction.

The Role

Reporting into the Head of Ecommerce, you'll be responsible for developing and delivering the online merchandising strategy across the LKQ UK&I ecommerce platform. You'll work cross-functionally with Digital, Category, Marketing, Pricing, Product Information, UX, and Commercial teams to ensure our online product offering is engaging, relevant, and commercially effective.

You'll balance customer experience with commercial priorities, using data and insight to optimise product presentation, navigation, search, promotional activity, and seasonal trading.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and deliver the ecommerce merchandising strategy to maximise online sales, conversion, and average order value.
  • Optimise product categorisation, navigation, search, filtering, and on-site merchandising to improve the customer journey.
  • Manage homepage, category pages, landing pages, and promotional content to support trading priorities.
  • Collaborate with Category and Commercial teams to ensure product ranges are accurately represented and effectively promoted.
  • Analyse customer behaviour, trading performance, and merchandising effectiveness, making data-led recommendations for improvement.
  • Lead seasonal trading plans, promotional events, and product launches across digital channels.
  • Monitor stock availability and work with relevant teams to optimise product visibility and minimise customer disappointment.
  • Partner with UX, Digital, and Product teams to continuously improve site performance and customer experience.
  • Use merchandising tools and analytics platforms to optimise product recommendations, search performance, and cross-sell opportunities.
  • Manage and develop merchandising processes, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and best practice across the website.
  • Coach and develop Ecommerce Merchandising Executives, fostering a high-performing and collaborative team.

Skills and Experience

We're looking for a commercially minded ecommerce professional with a passion for digital retail and customer experience.

You'll ideally have:

  • Significant experience in ecommerce merchandising within a retail or ecommerce business.
  • Strong understanding of online customer journeys, merchandising principles, and conversion optimisation.
  • Experience using ecommerce platforms, merchandising tools, and product information management systems.
  • Excellent analytical skills with experience interpreting trading data and customer insights.
  • Strong commercial awareness and the ability to balance customer needs with business objectives.
  • Experience managing multiple priorities within a fast-paced trading environment.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Previous experience leading or mentoring team members.
