Job summary
An exciting opportunity for band 5 nurses to develop and grow under the Renal team.

We are a committed team who are dedicated to providing high standards of patient care.

We have our own educational team who will work with you to ensure you have the opportunity to develop.

We are keen to develop a rotational programme within across the renal service which will enhance individuals renal experience and skills.

Main duties of the job
The post-holder will ensure that in all areas of practice they adhere to all current NMC guidance, and must maintain accurate, comprehensive and contemporaneous records in accordance with Trust and NMC guidelines, ensuring that confidentiality is maintained at all times.

• Registered Nurse (RN) NMC Registration

Desirable

• Evidence of other post-registration education and training.

Nursing experience
Essential

• Recent clinical nursing experience negotiating and liaising within a multi-disciplinary team

Desirable

• Experience of training students. Participation in audit; research projects; service development. Post registration experience

Experience
Essential

• Knowledge of evidence based practice. Knowledge of infection control. Knowledge of general wound care. Promotion of continence

Desirable

• Understanding of resource management. Knowledge of the audit process
